This is a semiochemical insect attractant for control of the melon fly (Bactrocera cucurbitae).

The Cue-Lure Plug supplied by Farmtrack Consulting ltd is designed to prevent damage to crops caused by the melon fly (Bactrocera cucurbitae)

Uses of Cue-Lure Plug

The Cue-Lure plug is also effective in controlling other Bactrocera species that respond to Cue-Lure.
The melon fly is an economic pest of cucurbits such as melons, squashes, pumpkins, and solanaceous vegetables like eggplants, tomatoes, and peppers.
