Agromine 860 SL is a broad spectrum selective systemic herbicide for the control of post-emergence broadleaf weeds in maize, rice, and wheat fields and non-cropped areas like lawns.

 

 

Mode of Action

2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) is a synthetic auxin (plant hormone) and is absorbed through the leaves and is translocated to the meristems of the plant, where it inhibits growth.

Available in a 1-liter bottle.

 

 

Method and Rate of Application

Apply Agromine 860 SL by direct spraying ensuring adequate coverage of plant foliage for effective control.

Target Crops
  • Maize2 L/ha in 150 liters of water. 13.5 ml per liter of water. Apply 2-4 days after planting; any time after 2 leaf stage but before the maize is 30 cm high
  • Lawn2 L/ha in 150 liters of water. 13.5 ml per liter of water. Apply any time after grasses are established
  • Wheat2.5-3 L/ha in 150 liters of water. 16.5-20 ml per liter of water
    Apply after 5-6 leaves have developed but before the piping stage.
  • Rice2 L/ha in 150 liters of water. 13.5 ml per liter of water. Apply before booting stage approximately between 4-7 weeks after germination

 

 

Re-entry Period

Do not enter treated areas until 12 hours after spraying, when spray deposits have completely dried. If entry is necessary, protective clothing should be put on.
